In an effort to bring families and community closer together, Farmington provides a wide variety of community and cultural events throughout the year, and is especially proud for the opportunity of putting on the annual Farmington Days Festival. The festival got off to a good start on Monday with a kids bike parade and a family movie night. As the week progressed, people of all ages enjoyed participating in a basketball tournament, Little Miss Farmington drawing, tennis tournament, family bike race, charity motorcycle ride, and other activities.
Saturday, the final day of the festival, will include distance races, breakfast, sporting events, festival booths and entertainment, and free ice cream. Then on Saturday night, families will be able to enjoy a high-energy concert given by one of Utah’s top party bands, No Limits.
The No Limits Band plays music that appeals to crowds of all ages, from today’s most current radio hits to yesterday’s classics, with a few surprises thrown. No guarantees, but the band members are well-known for throwing gobs of candy into the crowd, so for those with a sweet tooth, it may be advisable to get there early and secure a spot near the stage. At the conclusion of the concert in the park, the crowd will be treated to an explosive fireworks display, followed by a youth dance in the Community Arts Center.
