Paula Deen Network to Launch on September 24, 2014

Paula Deen’s highly-anticipated new interactive digital lifestyle network, the Paula Deen Network, will launch on September 24, 2014, with consumer pre-registration beginning on July 22, 2014. The Paula Deen Network will allow viewers to engage and access Paula anytime, anywhere-on computer, smartphone or tablet.

The Paula Deen Network will be the only place to experience new broadcast quality programming on demand from Paula Deen, the Queen of Southern Cuisine. Paula will provide her signature Southern dishes and simple, healthy meals in a fun, unscripted format on a daily basis with all-new recipes, episodes and cooking tools.The network will also feature exciting entertainment programming such as reality and game shows, and Paula’s funniest blooper moments.

Leading up to the network’s September launch, fans that sign up in the first week, by visiting, will receive fun, exclusive and member-only weekly specials. These benefits include access to new episodes, behind-the-scenes content and custom messages directly from Paula.

The Paula Deen Network will feature a variety of entertainment programming, including both short-form and long-form content. Shows will follow themes for every day, such as “Leftover Mondays” and “Taco Tuesdays” as well as holiday-themed content. A sample of some of the specific shows includes “20-Minute Meals,” “Paula Cooking Light” and “One Dish, Three Ways.” Reality shows will give fans unprecedented access to the Queen of Southern Cuisine with “Paula’s World,” “Bloopers” and “Fry Cam.” The network will also feature comedic twists on classic game shows with “Deen There Done That” and “Sketch Your Supper.” Paula will also showcase lifestyle segments highlighting the best of Southern living, such as decorating tips for the holidays and discovering hidden treasures with local merchants.

Subscription pricing for the Paula Deen Network will range from $7.99/month for a 12-month commitment to $9.99/month for a month-to-month membership. Additional subscriber benefits will be announced when the network launches. All memberships include a 14-day free trial.

Production for the Paula Deen Network began this summer at Paula’s new home studio in Savannah, which has been designed to closely resemble the set of her first television series, “Paula’s Home Cooking.” The set was built specifically to host a live studio audience and will feature a range of celebrity guests, family and friends, including appearances by Paula’s sons, Jamie and Bobby Deen, and her husband, Michael Groover. Network members will be entered into weekly sweepstakes for a chance to win prizes and an all-expense paid trip to Savannah, GA to join the live studio audience.
