SavATree Announces Promotions in Executive Team

(PRWEB) June 09, 2016

SavATree, a leading provider of quality tree, shrub and lawn care services, announced the promotion of Don Becker to Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for all branch office operations company wide.

“Don has consistently demonstrated strong business acumen, leadership, and the ability to adapt and meet goals. We are looking to him to ensure consistency in process, expectations and results throughout all of our branch locations in the ten states we serve,” said Daniel van Starrenburg, President and CEO of SavATree.

Don has nearly 30 years of experience with SavATree, starting with the company in 1987 when SavATree had only one branch office. Don previously worked for the Florida Division of Forestry, and is a graduate of SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Management and a BA in Business Management from Syracuse University.

Supporting Don will be a General Manager of Service Lines, a newly created role that provides a focused resource for our all-important service programs. “We are happy to announce Andrew Keppel will be taking over the new General Manager of Service Lines position, in addition to serving as Warrenville, Illinois Branch Manager,” stated Daniel van Starrenburg. Andrew has over 10 years of experience in the tree, shrub and lawn care space, most recently as Vice President of McGinty Brothers Lawn and Tree Care in Long Grove, IL.

In addition, SavATree’s District Management model has been expanded to now include the newly formed New England district. Mike Schoeni, a 27 year veteran of the company, was also recently promoted to District Manager, overseeing seven branches in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

The company’s success and continued sustainability have been driven by its ability to continuously leverage its strengths and identify areas for improvement relative to its strategic plan and market competition. As the organization grows, they continue to look for ways to support their expanding branch operations in a way that is lean, sustainable, and consistent with the goal of being a preferred employer and industry leader.
