Kimbal Musk will speak at the return of Indoor Ag-Con Gotham – the US indoor agriculture industry’s leading conference – in New York on October 5, 2016. Kimbal, who is taking his tech entrepreneur savvy and applying it to strengthening communities through food is a co-founder of The Kitchen, a growing family of restaurants that sources directly from local farmers, stimulating the local farm economy to the tune of millions of dollars a year, and creating quality jobs.
Indoor Ag-Con Gotham is a one-day event hosted at the Helen Mills Theater in Chelsea, and will showcase the rapid technology innovations, market growth, financial opportunities and acceleration of this high-tech industry.
Indoor Agriculture continues to emerge as one of the fastest-growing sectors in the world. This is driven by consumer demand for local produce, concerns over food safety, water use and environmental impacts of conventional agriculture.
