Wendi Shapiro Joins MWWPR as Senior Vice President, Western Region Consumer Practice Head

In her new role, Shapiro serves as steward of the region’s robust consumer marketing practice, and leads communications strategies across its clients spanning the restaurant, travel, and wine & spirits sectors. She’ll also spearhead the new business development process for prospective consumer clients.

Prior to joining MWWPR, Shapiro was a Senior Vice President at Murphy O’Brien Public Relations, responsible for overseeing the Lifestyle Collection of accounts, providing strategic leadership for clients including The Cheesecake Factory, Bolthouse Farms, See’s Candies, Morton’s The Steakhouse, Lynx Grills, Mendocino Farms, Tender Greens, Canidae Pet Food and The Better Chip, to name a few.

Shapiro’s work has garnered many industry accolades including a PRism Award, Sabre Award and PR News Elite Award.
