Today Cumberland Farms announced that it has given away more than 1 million cups of free coffee – 1,099,913 cups to be exact – to customers across 11 states as part of its Free Coffee Fridays promotion.
Launched several years ago to kick-off the hot beverage season, the campaign began as a way to introduce Farmhouse Blend to customers who may not have considered a convenience store as a coffee destination. “We are so proud of our Farmhouse Blend Coffee, and we know customers will keep coming back once they have tasted it,” said Ari Haseotes, President of Cumberland Farms. “Not only is our coffee the highest quality, but customers also really love the self-serve experience, including the ability to add creamers, sweeteners and flavorings. Making it themselves ensures that customers get their coffee the way they like it, every time.” Cumberland Farms has consistently seen sales of its Farmhouse Blend Coffee rise as a result of the annual campaign. Each December since the promotion’s inception, the company has seen double-digit sales growth year-over-year.
